The Foredom H.30 general purpose rotary handpiece is the most popular option for use during gemstone carving and jewelry work using Foredom flex-shaft motors used by most professional jewelers.

Usage

The most popular of Foredom's various handpieces, whether you make jewelry, carve wood or do any other type of fabrication, Foredom's H.30 compatible attachments make a great handpiece even more useful. An optional cushion grip for this handpiece can reduce hand and arm fatigue. Collet adapters or micro-chucks are available to make changing between different shank size burs and accessories quicker by not needing to swap collets. Specifications

The H.30 handpiece's precision geared 3-jaw #0 chuck accepts any size shank bur or rotary accessory up to 5/32"(4mm) diameter. Handy collet adapters are available to quickly change between different shank sized accessories. H.30 Handpieces have permanently lubricated, shielded ball bearings and do NOT require any additional lubrication. It includes a HPCK-0 chuck key in molded plastic handle for changing accessories. Replacement Chuck Key are available separately. Handpiece measures 5-3/16" long, 1" diameter, and weighs under 6 oz. Use with key tip shaft ONLY
